Yesterday I spent some good quality time with a dear friend. We went to the Latin festival on Belmont's campus and then decided to go drink wine at her house and just talk for a bit. It was what I needed. While we were talking she said she had a verse that reminded her of me:

"Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces."
Matthew 7:6

Sometimes I'm too nice when it comes to dealing with people. I trust and care too quickly, which in the end just allows others to take advantage of me. BUT I'm working on it.. And I have quickly found out which relationships in my life I need and which I do not need. Ah, life can be tricky at times but it's all part of this big picture.

I just thought i would let you know i think about you all the time, and I am glad to know that you have good friends in Nashville. It's always sad when a friend is leaving for another town, but the joys of seeing each other are so much stronger once they see each other again.
I hope to see you soon!
